Edward Hopper’s “Chop Suey”sold $92 million

Edward Hopper’s “Chop Suey” sold Tuesday in New York for almost $92 million—a record for the American artist’s work. The 1929 oil painting depicting two women sitting at a Chinese restaurant was part of a sale of more than 90 American modernist artworks at Christie’s.
